{"id":40815,"date":"2025-08-07T16:58:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T14:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sport.luiss.it\/?p=40815\/"},"modified":"2025-08-08T15:00:46","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T13:00:46","slug":"esperienza-campo-nel-mental-coaching-juan-manuel-fernandez-entra-far-parte-dellorganizzazione-della-as-luiss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sport.luiss.it\/en\/2025\/08\/07\/esperienza-campo-nel-mental-coaching-juan-manuel-fernandez-entra-far-parte-dellorganizzazione-della-as-luiss\/","title":{"rendered":"Experience on the court and in mental coaching: Juan Manuel Fernandez joins the AS Luiss organization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A top-level new arrival within AS Luiss: starting from the 2025\/26 season, Juan Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez will in fact be part of the biancoblu club.<\/p>\n<p>The basketball player, born in R\u00edo Tercero (Argentina) in 1990, 193 cm, 83 kg, point\/shooting guard with a long career in the Italian Serie A and A2 (after signing his first professional contract with Olimpia Milano, in Italy he played for Brescia, Sassari, Trieste and Venice), will join the Luiss Sport organization in a prominent role.<\/p>\n<p>With a three-year agreement, Fern\u00e1ndez (who holds both Argentine and Italian passports) will be a member of the Luiss Roma Basketball team and will also be involved in the Luiss Sport Lab project as a Mental Coach supporting all athletes within the Luiss Sport Academy: a dual role in which he will offer all his skills and professionalism, developed through the experiences of his important career.<\/p>\n<p>Juan, nicknamed \u201cLobito,\u201d is enthusiastic about his new adventure in the capital: &#8220;From the moment the Luiss project was presented to me, I was immediately impressed. Its philosophy reflects the way I have always lived my career: giving equal value to both personal and athletic development. Today I try to help other athletes find their path with the same vision. Choosing Luiss at this stage of my career is in line with what I have always believed in and is proof that every step of my journey has brought me here. I am happy to be part of this organization. I hope to give my contribution on and off the court, continuing to support those who have the courage to invest in themselves.
