Women’s Basketball, Roma Tre brings back the smile

After the stop against the Pass Roma, the Women’s Basketball team returns to win beating Roma Tre 72-31. A convincing success, not only because of the score with which the challenge ended.

After a hard-fought first leg, in the return match our girls showed technical superiority from the very first minutes. In fact, the first quarter already ended with a wide gap: 6-19. In the second and third partial, the advantage of Luiss remained clear, with a good 30 points difference at the end of the two periods.

Our basketball players managed to keep the intensity high throughout the match. Especially in the last quarter, when it was the defense the winning weapon with which they left no escape to the opponents. Roma Tre scored only 2 points and the siren was wide.

Top scorer of the evening, Adriana Casella and Benedetta Vernuccio with 18 and 10 points scored.
