The match against Norway, valid for the second day of Group D, closes on 70-53 for Italy. After the defeat suffered at the beginning, the team of coach Andrea Paccariè has immediately raised its head, getting back in the race for access to the second phase.

The race, led by the Italians since the first quarter, saw the student Luiss Leonardo Marcon, author of very important baskets. Also thanks to its 11 points, Italy now occupies the second position in the standings, matched to Germany.

For this reason, the third and final match, which will be staged tonight against the Germans, becomes fundamental. In a PalaBarbuto that promises to be crowded, Italy will play access to the quarterfinals.

Coach Paccariè’s comment gives hope: “Great emotional performance, which allows us to still hope for access to the quarterfinals. We still had some smears, but we played with the heart”.

Come on, guys, let’s get on with it!
