Giorgio Avola between fencing and Dual Career
Even this year during LUISS Sport Festival, on November the 20th, our athletes will have the chance to spent some time together to relieve some crucial moments of the past season and to take some rest. One of these is Giorgio Avola, that begun at best this season conquering a third place in the Mundial Cup, reaching the 8th place in the overall ranking.
Today he spoken about Dual Career project.
Giorgio, your sportive CV is amazing, is full of incredible victories and enormous satisfactions for you and for Italian Fencing Federation. What means to you start a new challenge with the Dual Career?
“What I think is that challenge our self is the only way to live at best. It’s true, in these years I’ve made some extraordinary experiences and lived strong emotions but I’ve never lost the passion and the desire to challenge myself. The Dual Career it’s a huge opportunity that I want to live and to exploit at best, both as person that as athlete”
Which are your expectation?
“The ambitious objective is to demonstrate that is possible to be a “top athlete” and a student at the same time, and that this condition represents an added value even for the sportive career, in terms of performances and of return”.
