Interview with Flavio Rambotti, Technical Manager of Athletics

  • 21 December 2018

Last Sunday there was the 8×20 Telethon, and the guys from Athletics have collected a great position.

Are you satisfied with the work done so far?

I’m very satisfied with the work and the way we’re organising ourselves.

We have structured our training so as to create a united and compact group beyond the characteristics of each individual.
In addition, the valuable work of the Team Managers is greatly strengthening the LUISS identity, in which we identify especially in the race.

What are the peculiarities of the LUISS Sport model, also with reference to American colleges, and how has it grown in recent years?

The most important peculiarity is the strong identity of the University, perceivable in all its aspects: from the training hours to those of the shuttles, of the clothing to the various events: the LUISS “logo” is always present in a very strong way in which to identify.

What does the LUISS Sports Association represent for a student?

For a student, the LUISS sports association is a further element made available and therefore a further reason for pride in belonging.

On which aspects should we work in our next commitments? What is the hope for 2019?

We must further strengthen the LUISS identity in which to identify even more deeply.
We will do this by increasing our bidding efforts and technical structure.
