After making its debut in Vetralia, the Luiss Cycling Team participated in the Gran Fondo Mari e Monti. The race, which started in the centre of Ladispoli, was divided into a single route of 108 kilometres and 1400 metres of difference in height, with a passage through the hills of Tolfa, Manziana, Bracciano and Cerveteri.

The results of the race were excellent for our athletes:

Elena Serangeli won her category, overtaking her rivals in the sprint and finishing in 3 hours and 40.

Nunzio Muratore and Anton Breuste tackled the whole route together, teaming up to the end. They arrived close and a few minutes from the first: Anton got the sixth place, Nunzio the eighth.

Bad day, however, for Lorenzo Canuti, stopped by cramps a few kilometers from the finish line.

The day ended satisfactorily. This is confirmed by the words of the technical director Luigi Bielli: “These guys, despite the commitments of study, continue to bring great results and much notoriety to Luiss.
