Basketball B League, Paccariè presents the challenge against Chieti: “details and hunger for victory”.

For League Basketball, Sunday 28 April is a date to mark on the calendar: the playoff series against Chieti begins. A commitment that will decide the fate of the boys of coach Paccariè. The coach has analysed for us the challenge that awaits our players and their condition: “The team is physically fit. The only negative note is Di Fonzo’s new injury, which unfortunately will remain out for playoffs. The others are training with great determination. In the last month we have had some complicated games to solve and we have not always managed to close them as we had hoped. However, I’m happy with the test in Reggio Calabria: despite the defeat, I saw a team motivated and ready to fight. An approach that in these playoffs will be fundamental.

Paccariè reflects, then, on the situation of our next opponents and their strengths: “We meet a difficult team: after a difficult start, Chieti began to win continuously, coming second in its round. Throughout the regular season he suffered just 7 defeats and closed behind San Severo. He has a deep roster, excellent shooters and plays with 9 interchangeable players. It’s a demanding team, supported by passionate and competent people.

Finally, the coach tries to imagine the tactical keys of the series: “Our defensive aggressiveness can create difficulties for their game. We are a team with many faces, and therefore unpredictable. The difference will be the details and the hunger for victory.
