Basketball B league, Luiss knocks out Civitanova and returns to smiling

Basket B league finds the smile again by winning 60-54 the direct clash against Civitanova. A success of character, suffered but deserved.

The team starts off well, with excellent shooting percentages. Barbon hits a 3 and we fly to 18-10. Luiss continues to move the ball well in offense and extends the lead thanks to an inspired Jovovic.

Civitanova knows that the game counts for a lot and tries to raise the defense, but we go to rest on 32-24. In the third quarter, percentages drop and mistakes in offense are felt.

A triple by Pasqualin makes it 52-45, but the opponents don’t lose their bearings and come back up to -2. The final is marked by Di Bonaventura, who scores fundamental points and makes the free throws of victory.
