Scholarships

Luiss provides scholarships for sports to student-athletes in the Luiss Top Athletes (LTA) and Luiss Team (LT) categories. These scholarships may cover partial or full exemption from the tuition fees for the academic year in which the student is enrolled. The regional tax for the right to education, where applicable, remains excluded. In some cases, free accommodation and meals may also be granted.

Each academic year, student-athletes in the LTA and LT categories must earn at least 50% of the required ECTS credits from their academic curriculum in order to maintain eligibility for the scholarship.

Note: The Luiss Sport Academy Commission may, based on available financial resources and specific evaluations, submit a proposal to the Luiss Executive Committee for extraordinary scholarships to be awarded to student-athletes in disciplines not listed above.

Application Deadline

The final deadline to apply for a merit-based sports scholarship is March 31 of each academic year.

A deadline extension may apply in specific cases, particularly:

• For athletes in the Luiss Top Athletes category;
• For selected athletes in the Luiss Team category, admitted to AS Luiss teams, as specified in Article 5 of the Luiss Sport Program.

The Luiss Sport Academy Commission will definitively deliberate on the allocation of scholarships for Luiss Top Athletes no later than July of each academic year.
