Federico Vilmercati, student in Economy and Management, is one of SSD LUISS’ team fixed points. Before landing to Rambaudi’s court, he has played for fifteen years with Albalonga that actually plays in D series.

Past year, his participation was fundamental for winning the Lazio Cup that permitted to gain the Promotion. Today he wanted to tell his story:

Which difficulties you are facing in a more competitive championship?
“The arrival in Promotion was difficult because we’re not accustomed to this competitiveness. We haven’t started well but we believe in ourselves and in our strength. The level doesn’t permit to have a voltage drop during the match”

Which objective do you want to reach in this season?
We are aware of our possibilities and we want to give the vest to reach the highest level; we don’t have an objective for this championship”

How important is your connection with your teammates and with your coach to reach better performances? And how much you have matured thanks to the team?
I’m noticing that a unite group and a great relationship with teammates make the difference and permit to improve our personal football skills. In every case, being a part of a huge group constituted also by more mature players, permits to get better and to grow”

When you will end your study, what do you will miss more about this experience?
“I don’t believe that I will be capable of abandon the football, it’s a passion that I have since I was a child and in which I’ve always believed. About this experience I will miss the relation with my teammates and the status of student-athlete that I’m living which, actually, is difficult to find in our country and for this reason I’m very proud to be a part of this magnificent project”.
