Male Volley continues to win and now heads to “The Wrong”

4/4 for the boys of Male Volleyball who met outside the house on Sunday 9 against Villalba Volleyball winning 3-1 (16-25;11-25;25-23;13-25). A home team composed of very young athletes, this may justify their poor performance in the championship (0 points in the standings), but that has not been underestimated by ours, if you consider that the goal was to return home with the maximum points. However, as a demonstration of the hunger of our heroes, there was a small regret at the end of the race for having given the 3 set to the opponents, especially because this could have been the final set of a game without worries, but it was the moment of reanimation of Villalba Volley who almost believed in the comeback. This has been lost because of our distractions that have seen us under the beginning of the match for 9-3 except then an unexpected comeback that has brought us on 23 equal but then lost 25-23.

Very little to say about the game, probably because the boys were already focused on the home match of December 13, where Palaluiss will host the team “La Storta” who sits on an equal footing with us, in second place. Thursday’s match is the first of two major matches of the season (on January 7 we will meet with the current leader Monterotondo) for which it is not allowed to make mistakes if you want to give the company this long-awaited promotion to series D. To be able to look at the ranking from above after these two matches is the short-term goal set by the team, which is therefore looking forward to take to the field to play it on an equal footing with everyone.
