The LUISS beaten at home by Viola
The LUISS starts softly and is forced to chase throughout the race the Viola Reggio Calabria that imposes 71 -64. Faragalli & Co. pay a bad evening at the shot from 3 closing with a miserable 3/20 and also lose the fight against rebounds 37-29.
The Viola with 60 fans following immediately starts strong and flies 12-4 driven by Fallucca and Alessandri. The LUISS holds only the athletic strength of Marcon who scores the first 6 points for his team. The first quarter closes 25-12.
In the second quarter, Martino’s physicality and Bonaccorso’s gypsy movements bring LUISS back in the wake, reaching 30-19. At the return LUISS seems more determined, Infante begins to find the way of the basket, Gellera supports him well and Marcon continues to fight. The defenses raise the pace and the averages go down, even the Viola doesn’t find the basket easily anymore. The fourth 55-45 for the Viola ends.
