Basketball B league, home victory over Pozzuoli and third place conquered

The boys of Basket B league return to win in the third day of return matches. At PalaLuiss, the quintet of Paccariè wins 76-67 over Virtus Pozzuoli and continues its climb in the standings.

Our players start off strong and immediately take the distance in the first quarter. Thanks to Sanna‘s triples, Infante‘s shots, and Martino‘s kicks, the team closes ahead 16-9.

In the second half, defenses become more aggressive and percentages drop. A triple by Fiorucci makes Paccariè’s team breathe, and they try to escape. With a counterbreak, Pozzuoli gets closer and a triple at the end of the period brings the score on 29-26.

The boys, however, don’t give up and start off strong. Infante and Tredici score important points, then Fiorucci gives us +12. The guests remain in the wake and try to catch up, going back to -8. Martino, Sanna and D’Argenzio answer to the guests’ attacks, but they don’t falter and come back to the game.

Virtus Pozzuoli plays as a team and gets back to two possessions away, on 59-53. Then the trio Infante-Tredici-Sanna score the decisive baskets. The game is closed by 5 consecutive points by Pasqualin.
