A lot happens in the first match of the University Championship between Luiss University Football and Sapienza. After the long pause, the team of coach Giovannetti returns to the field and finds a draw.

The guests get off to a better start and, despite a torrential rain, they find the advantage on a penalty kick with Di Febo. In the second part of the first half, Luiss dominates, but without finding the 1-1 goal.

In the resumption, the film of the race remains the same: our guys control, but fail to score. To take advantage of this is the Sapienza that signs the 2-0 again with Di Febo.

The team, however, does not let itself be defeated and at 12 ‘shortens the distance with a wonderful goal of Filippo Botto. Galvanized by the goal, the boys continue to push and at 18’ they find the draw. Gianluca Gatti flies higher than all on the development of a corner kick and header makes it 2-2.

Luiss looks for the victory throughout the final part of the second half. The 3-2 comes again with a header by Gatti, but it is cancelled for a dubious push on a guest defender. The first championship ends 2-2, between rain and emotions.

Come on guys, keep going!
