Basket B league: beautiful victory on Partenope Sant’Antimo’s court.

Well-deserved victory for Basket B league, running in the seventh round of the first half of the season on the Partenope Sant’Antimo’s court. A success that gives morale and confidence to Paccariè’s boys, after the last unlucky results.

The team starts strong: Infante, Rota twice and a triple by Martino give us the first lead at 14-8. Infante confirms his state of grace and scores from every position. Sanna closes a great first quarter by scoring 25-18.

A nice shot by D’Argenzio makes Paccariè’s quintet fly, while Sant’Antimo can’t keep the pace of the university players. Vangelov and Carnovali try to shake up the hosts who go up to -15.

They go to rest on 49-32 thanks to a basket by Martino. In the second half, the boys lower their pace a bit and Sant’Antimo tries to catch up, but the ring rejects several shots.

Partenope makes its best effort: Milosevic scores the -2 on 58-60, but hadn’t reckoned with Infante, who with 7 consecutive points gives oxygen to the team. First Sanna and then Martino score important shots to tame the Campani comeback.

Sabbatino, however, makes a 3-pointer to bring the home team back to one possession at 66-69. The final points are scored by Martino from the line, gives us an important victory: it ends 71-68 for us.
