Football Eccellenza, Luiss CBill loses 2 to 1 against Vicovaro

Sunday, March 19, our boys from soccer Eccellenza face Vicovaro on the opponent’s pitch, a team looking for points to get out of the playout area. The field is immediately difficult and the fans cheer their team loudly for the duration of the match.

In the 3rd minute of the first half Renzetti suffers a bad clash in the game and is forced to leave the field. Ten minutes later, Vicovaro took the lead with a volley from outside the box.

Despite everything, the Luiss CBill students believe in it and continue to play, finding the equalizer in the 30th minute, thanks to a penalty converted by Le Rose. After a few minutes, however, Vicovaro took the lead again thanks to a daring deflected shot.

The first half ends 2-1. Throughout the second half the teams face off in search of the goal, but without creating clear chances.

At the end of the 90th minute, the referee whistles a penalty kick in favor of Vicovaro, but our goalkeeper Pancotto manages to neutralize the shot. The game thus ends 2-1.
