IV LUISS OPEN Tennis: Wins Fun!
The IV LUISS OPEN Tennis ended last weekend with the LUISS-Confindustria Friendly Match. The Tournament, organized this year in collaboration with Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, took place from 16 to 22 September in the splendid setting of the Foro Italico Tennis Club.
The friendly match, which was held on Friday 22 September, saw a selection of LUISS players, composed by Michel Martone (Professor LUISS), Corinna Tarlantini (Graduated LUISS), Pierluigi Pace (Graduated LUISS), Domenico Carnimeo (Student LUISS) and Alfredo Cuzzupoli Graduated LUISS), which in the previous editions challenged in a friendly match a delegation of Confindustria, composed in turn by Michele Credazzi ( Administration and Control of Management SFC), Giancarlo Coccia (Human Resources and Corporate Services SFC) , Francesca Di Girolamo (Human Resources and Corporate Services SFC), Simone Vellucci (SFC Institutional Relations Area) and Stefano Arciprete (European Projects SFC).
The IV edition of the tournament was characterised by a large participation of athletes and students, who created a healthy competition with passion and fun.
The innovation of the IV LUISS OPEN was the Tiebreak Vivenda tournament, for the first time Official Supplier of the tournament, which took place on 16 and 17 September. The couple formed by Paolo Capone (LUISS Graduated) and Valerio Pizzoli (LUISS Graduated) on the couple Elena Mattesi (LUISS Graduated) and Alfonso Buonpensiere (Graduated LUISS). Rodeo tournament, held from September 18 to September 21, was won by team G, formed by Pasquale Vastano (LUISS Student), Mattia Del Viscovo (LUISS Student), Luca Giuliani (LUISS Student), Francesco Pagani (LUISS Student) , Domenico Carnimeo (LUISS Student) and Alberto Volpiani (LUISS Student), on team D, composed by Paolo Pasini (LUISS Student), Christopher Cutolo (LUISS Student), Tommaso Baccini (LUISS Student), Riccardo Mastronardi (LUISS Student) and Alfredo Cuzzupoli (LUISS Graduated). In the presence of the General Manager LUISS, Giovanni Lo Storto, and Luigi Serra, LUISS Executive Vice President, the awards were held in a fun and exciting atmosphere, in the name of friendship and all the healthy values of sport. The awards to the finalists of the IV LUISS Open has been released by three Top Players of the LUISS Sport Academy Project, Giorgio Avola, Chiara Mormile and Angelica Impronta.
