Basket: LUISS won first match

LUISS Basketball team was ahead of the curve winning for 73-66 in the seasonal debut against Venafro which, actually, have played a considerable match for 38 minutes but, in the end, they have surrended to the opponent’s physicality. The competition was cut-throat, infact the ball possession was fifty-fifty. Macron made a monumental slam dunk during a counterattack between two opponents. LUISS demostrated a huge personality; the first half was closed with two point of advantage. The triad Rossi, Rinaldi (21 pt) and Tamburrini (12 pt) scored a lot of points backed by the new arrived Martone (11 pt). But there was a change of pace in the third half when Venafro played better conquering seven points of advantage. The bench of coach Paccariè has given the right burden. De Dominicis and Bonaccorso were fundamental for the overcoming.

LUISS obtained two essential points showing mettle when was crucial; but the team have to be more convincing in defense, waste less balls and score with continuity in order to reach the seats that count in the championship.
