Basket promotion: LUISS beats Fiano Romano for 88-66!

A crackling beginning for Basket Promotion that ntakes home the first two points of season thanks to a passionate match. Balducci haul LUISS with 34 points, in double number also Baldoncini with 13 points.

The physicality and the nervous prevail at the beginning of the match, but the first half ended with a plus 7 for our guys.

In the second quarter, instead, there was a lack of attention and concentration which has led to loss the advantage; in the break Fiano Romano lead for 42-40.

In the third quarter the music changed so the team, guided by D’Ercole, the captain, started to raise the defensing pressure. The match was in the hands of LUISS basketball team until the end that has photographed the match’s trend: LUISS won for 88-66.

“I’m very happy for the victory, but even more for guys” declared the coach Andrea Martino in the end of the match. “It wasn’t easy because this is the first match with a new group, we are behind for a lot of things but with the strength we can reach some good results. Now we have to focus on the next match against Roma XVI”.
