Ski: the new season will shine!

Between old and new grafts, the sport season will start also for the skiers of the SSD LUISS. To get a better understanding of the academic projects, we interviewed Francesco Nardò, Team Manager of the team.

From Team Manager of the LUISS ski team, what are your feelings about the new season?

"The new season promises to be bright and full of good news. With the birth of the first Ski Club Luiss, we will offer the possibility to all ski passionates to practice this wonderful sport. The competitive team is charged, LUISS believes in us and is investing a lot in this sport, we are ready to make this investment in the best way possible ".

As you know, LUISS is investing a lot in allowing every student to practice sports. What do you think of the Dual Career program?

"The Dual Career is the most beautiful thing there can be on a university campus like ours. Sport at high levels requires huge sacrifices on the part of athletes and it is often very difficult to combine study and training. In Italy, unfortunately, sports culture does not exist, many times the young athletes-students are penalized in school-university due to the time dedicated to sports, ignoring how much sport teaches values such as knowing how to use to obtain results, the know how to better manage one's own time, knowing how to interact with others, all qualities that can not be learned in textbooks. Thanks to this wonderful project all this is possible, Luiss is launching a very strong signal, a symptom that something is changing! So what about ... Thank you, Mother LUISS! "

Exactly as in the intentions of the University, it clearly emerges how our athletes want to excel as much in the studio as in the sport. In this regard, after so much study and sacrifice, who knows if it is not just for everyone a white week, perhaps in Moena from 18 to 25 February 2018, to celebrate great sports and university achievements.
