BLS/D course for the staff of the Luiss Sport Area
The Luiss Sports Association organizes on Saturday, February 02 the training course BLS/D (Basic life support/Defibrillator, in English “basic support to vital functions, also known by the acronym BLS”) with the aim of training the staff of the Sports Area in the use of basic life-saving maneuvers and the use of the portable defibrillator.
All this in order to have a professional staff on the field and ready to deal with any emergency.
This guarantees safety, which is also the number one priority in the sporting context.
The course is dedicated to the staff of the Sports Office, but especially to coaches and Team Managers, so that each of the 16 sports groups Luiss has on the fields and during training at least 2 people trained in the use of basic life-saving maneuvers and the use of the defibrillator.
The attendance of the course and the passing of the final evaluation allow to obtain a certification with a validity of two years.
The course will be held in the structure of PalaLuiss, a multi-purpose field of our University that for the occasion will be available for this training event.
