Universiade 2019, Italbasket is ready to debut against Canada

For the boys of the Italian National University Basketball team the moment of the debut has arrived. Tonight Italbasket will play its first match at the Universiade of Naples 2019. At PalaDelMauro in Avellino, the students-athletes will face Canada at 20:00.

A challenge to which they arrive very loaded, after beating Croatia and the United States in the two friendly preparation matches. Proud to represent the University, in the field there will be students Luiss Leonardo Marcon, Francesco Gellera and Eugenio Beretta.

Next commitments
Tomorrow, however, the team of coach Andrea Paccariè will challenge Norway at the PalaBarbuto in Naples, and then close Group D Saturday 6 against Germany. The second phase, if any, will be played from 8 to 11 July.
