Calcio Eccellenza, comeback draw on the field of Villalba Ocres Moca
On Sunday, the second match of the Eccellenza Championship was played, which saw coach Stendardo’s eleven draw 2-2 against Villalba Ocres Moca.
Difficult start of the match, with the team that has suffered the dynamism of the opponent’s formation. In fact, at 20′ the hosts took the lead with a diagonal from the left.
The reaction of our boys, however, was immediate. The hottest ball of the first half has happened to Lombardi, who tried to shoot but found a defender ready to immolate the conclusion and divert it into a corner. The first time ended on 1-0.
At the resumption, inside Agostino for Le Rose for a more offensive set-up. In spite of the determined attitude of ours, however, an imprecise intervention of Lancellotti propitiated the doubling of Villalba. The goalkeeper didn’t hold back a cross, leaving the opponent’s 9 the possibility of sealing the 2-0 with a tap-in.
When the game seemed to be compromised, the usual De Vincenzi entered the scene. Surrounded by opponents at the edge of the penalty area, the bomber stopped a beautiful cross by Agostino with his chest and, with his back to the goal, he lifted the ball with a dribble and in acrobatics he scored behind the opponent’s goalkeeper. Distances shortened and the match reopened.
Mr. Stendardo’s boys continued to push like mad, looking for the draw in every way. The low and compact defense seemed to work, but at 90′ one of our players was landed in the penalty area. With cold blood, from the penalty spot De Vincenzi scored the 2-2, as well as his 100th goal in AS Luiss jersey.
Congratulations to the whole team for the reaction, now head to the challenge against Casal Barriera. Come on guys!
