Basketball B league: great victory Luiss beats Senigallia

Great win for Luiss that deservedly wins in Senigallia at the last second with an incredible basket in penetration by D’Argenzio that closes the game on 67-69 and climbs in the standings with 10 points.

Senigallia plays well at home and starts strong. 15-10 the first partial. Luiss tries to push with Jovovic on offense, but fails to score with continuity. First quarter ends 20-14 for the home team.

Senigallia tries to escape on 28-18. A triple by Di Bonaventura brings Luiss back to 29-23, and it’s in the game, playing well with Pasqualin and Legnini. Di Bonaventura again for 31-31. Rest time 42-36.

In the second half, Pasqualin starts off strong from three and Legnini from the basket, bringing Luiss back to 44-43. Luiss begins to raise its defense and Buzzi, with a nice basket, gives Paccariè’s guys the lead again.

The game goes on as a head to head. A lot of tactics and short defenses. D’Argenzio brings Luiss back ahead. Third quarter closes 55-54.

Legnini from three gives Luiss the maximum advantage and they fly 55-60. Senigallia is confused and misses several free throws. Luiss tries to escape. In the university ranks, Tolino does well, a young long player on the rise. D’Argenzio lights up and puts Luiss ahead 55-62.

We’re in the final and Luiss can’t find points for three minutes, the home team comes back and with a triple by Giannini they go ahead 65-64. Di Bonaventura scores an amazing basket and then misses the free throw of +2. The house masters from the lunette go back ahead. But this is D’Argenzio’s night, who jumps in and finds the basket among the giants.
The triple of the house masters goes off on the iron. And it’s a deserved victory for Pasqualin and his mates.
