Donato Telesca wins the 2023 Italian Cup Para Powerlifting

The Para Powerlifting Italian Cup took place last weekend, it was the first national Paralympic competition of 2023. There were 73 athletes engaged in Fiumicino, at the Hilton Rome Airport, on the first day it was the women’s turn, while Sunday 12 March 55 male colleagues competed in categories 49, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80, 88, 97, 107, 107+.

Donato Telesca has made a great comeback among the blues of the Italy Paralympic Team, after his absence from the last Italian appointment. The Para Powerlifting Italian Cup was an important test for our Top Athlete who was able to juggle well by winning first place in the 80kg category.
