Junior football, Luiss CBill participates in the “Peter Pan for Peace” tournament

On Sunday 11 June, at the Ottavia Sports Center from 9 to 12.30, the Luiss CBill Calcio Juniores took part in the “Peter Pan for Peace” tournament.

The event was organized to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the opening of the first Peter Pan home by combining football with the theme of hospitality that goes beyond care. For this, an 11-a-side football triangular was held, in which two teams from the Ottavia Juniores took part together with the AS Luiss Juniores. The teams were joined by 5 under 18 Ukrainian players, forced to leave their country and the dream of football due to the war.

The theme of the day was “welcome that becomes the engine and builder of peace through integration, an experience that has always been lived in the Peter Pan Houses”. The teams were awarded by: the sports journalist Monica Matano, the President of Peter Pan Roberto Mainiero and the Honorary President Marisa Fasanelli.
