Women’s 5-a-side football, internal defeat with Atletico Tirrena

The match of the 15th day of the championship ends 4-2 for Atletico Tirrena. The leader of group B has triumphed on our field, resisting the attempt of recovery of the team of Alessio Siliquini.

Our girls wanted to redeem the bad result obtained in the first leg against the girls of Civitavecchia and for 20 minutes the result remained at 0-0. Then Atletico Tirrena took the lead thanks to a goal from Maurelli, who doubled it a few minutes later. Before the end of the first half, Cassano shortened the distances, bagging a ball put in the middle by Rapicano.

The second half was very complicated for Luiss, who failed to realize the opportunities created. An offensive sterility coincided with defensive carelessness. Our girls have, in fact, suffered two more goals from the leader. In the last minutes of the match, Rapicano’s goal made the defeat less heavy.
