University soccer, the semi-final outward goes to Link Campus

The semi-final first leg of the Rome University Tournament ends with a defeat: Link Campus wins 2-1.

For the boys of Calcio Universitario, the k.o. came at the end of a hard-fought and balanced match. To the advantage of the first in the class, he responded with a free kick from Marco Consiglio. His second consecutive goal – after the one scored in the fourth against John Cabot – was of little use, however. In the second half, in fact, the Link Campus has exploited a defensive inattention finding the goal decisive.

A goal that allows to win the first round of the challenge. For Giovannetti’s boys, the return match will be fundamental.
