Top Athletes, Giorgio Marciano is gold at the World U20 Sabre Championships

It was a great Italy in sabre, that concluded in the best way its adventure at the World Youth and Cadet Championships in Dubai 2022 with two podiums in the Under 20 team trials.

The Italian team was the author of a splendid performance right from the start of the day, where it beat the reigning European champion German team. The Italian team then repeated the performance and, after a hard-fought assault against Japan, passed the round. The Italian advance continued in the quarters with a victory against France, which opened the doors to the semifinals, where success against Spain also arrived.

The final against Romania has been a race in crescendo that has seen as undisputed protagonist our Top Athlete Luiss Giorgio Marciano that has conquered the title of World Champion U20 team in the specialty of saber.
