Swimming, the Luiss Intesa Sanpaolo team breaks its records
Last Saturday 4 February, at the Aquaniene swimming facility, the third regional test of the year ended where, once again, our girls and boys from the Intesa Sanpaolo swimming team excelled in both speed and middle distance .
The girls with the 200 backstroke opened the dance. Costanza Poerio, after a very aggressive passage, keeps a good pace in the final scoring an excellent 2.20.08. A different approach instead for Costanza Emanuele who faces the race in progression, going up in the final and setting her best time ever: 2.25.54. The latter also ventured into the 50 breaststroke for the first time, swimming a good 36.48.
Speed session for the boys. Davide Emanuele competed in the 50m butterfly (27.16), in which he equaled his personal best, and in the 50m freestyle (25.54) where he pays for some technical errors on which he will work in depth in the coming weeks. Lorenzo D’ angelo also competed in the 50 butterfly (27.21) significantly lowering his personal and in the 50 freestyle where he pays for a little tiredness, however touching the plate in a remarkable 23.56. Both races of team captain Raffaele Fabiano did very well, before him in the 50m butterfly he retouched his personal swimming 25.79; shortly after, his record in the 50 freestyle (23.64) also falls with an impeccable race.
In the coming weeks, the team will continue training in preparation for the prestigious meeting in San Marino in which the Luiss team will participate on the weekend of February 25th and 26th.
