After a slowly beginning, the route of LUISS football team proceed shipped: Mister Rambaudi’s guys ringed a series of success in few days, also thanks to the new grafts. In fact, Federico Cinti, 20 y/o, at the second year of Law, left back, played in Lazio until 17 y/o than he transferred for one year to Fiorentina. In the end decided to get back to Lazio. “I went for one year and half in D between Trastevere Football and Flaminia Civita Castellana – tells to us Federico – last year I played in D”.

Why the decision to play in Promotion in the LUISS’ team with a curricul like yours?
“I received some offers from teams which plays in D and in Pro League during summer, but when I knew about the possibility to begin this soccer and academic route I didn’t wait and I tried to make me available to the team. Thanks to the calls that I’ve made during summer (I take this opportunity to thank Leo Cisotta, mister Rambaudi, Simone Rambaudi and everyone who works for SSD LUISS) I understood the importance of this project”.

How your teammates welcomed you? How was the ambience?
“The ambience which I’ve found was fantastic, the group is very united and composed buy some guys who want the same thing. Also seen some guys already graduated as Lorenzo Pillot or di Brizzi, such attached to the vest was very inspiring for me”

Which means for you “Dual Career”?
“Since I was playing in Lazio I was one of the few to attend Classical High School, time for studying was never enough but I’m convinced that a good player needs to have some basic knowledge before to be good in technique and tactics. Last year I’ve regularly make my exams notwithstanding the commitments with football were a lot, but I have to say that I’m very happy because if I did not, I would not have had the chance to get into LUISS. The world of football is full of illusion and promises that are never kept, I think that creates a parallel academic career gives the chance to make your best in both things”.

Tell us your future perspectives, both in football and in work field.
“In the future I hope to help my teammates to reach the firsts place in championship. The team is very competitive inside and outside the field. While concerning my academic route I hope to take every oppotunity that my university offers day by day. I expect that football will be the center of my life, even in the future, but I have to earn it, only after graduating”.
