Basket League B: an heroic LUISS comes out spectacularly!

LUISS has lost against Cassino, missing the possibility to get into the final match, after an incredible game. Our team, sustained by 50 fans, has played a magnificent Match 5 and  has been defeated for 89-86.

Fiery match right after the beginning. Cassino gets ahead of 7 points, but the well-know duo Beretta-Marcon keeps steady the team of Paccariè.

The game is intense and spectacular, with a lot of points scored despite the well-built defenses. Cassino scores with 75% of accuracy on the 3 points’ shots, moving forward, but Vecchia and Scudieri launch positive signals. The first time closes with 51-40 for Cassino.

The third fourth opens with Cassino that pushes even further, winning a lot of fights under the basket, conquering a lot of points. LUISS gets lost at -15, but when the game seemed to close, our boys’ hearts got fired again.Paccariè found an anomalous quintet and Veccia dressed like Reggie Miller, scoring four triples and getting the team at minus 6 points.

The hall gets fired and Cassino appears proven. LUISS team gets at -1 with an incredible triple of Beretta.

Final part is like a movie. Marcon impacts on 86-86. On the last action referees whistle a questionable foul on Carrizzo’s penetration, that realizes just a free throw.
