Basketball Promozione: Casilino 23 wins at PalaLuiss

Second consecutive defeat for Promotion Basketball, after the k.o. against Olimpia San Venanzio. The internal challenge against Casilino 23 ends 55-79, an undertone match for our team. Coach Martino’s boys, too soft in the defensive phase, were hit several times by the counterattacks of the guests.

Negro’s triples in the first quarter had deluded Luiss, who was 20-16 ahead of the siren. Second and third stage, however, were the guests, with our boys to make so many mistakes in attack. The two partials ended with a total of 45-18 for Casilino. Scores that influenced the outcome of the match. The last quarter was more balanced, but by then it was too late and at the end of the game the scoreboard was 55-79.

At the end of the first phase of the championship, 18 points were won by Luiss in 14 games. A score that gives our boys the fourth position in group C, allowing access to the second phase.
