Universiade, Italbasket back to win against China

After the k.o. against Germany, the National University team returns to victory: China defeats 95-83 at PalaDelMauro in Avellino.

The Italbasket, however, has struggled to regain success. Thanks to the match time (10:30), the initial approach was not optimal. Even the nervousness of the two teams has probably complicated things. Fortunately, the fourth stage, closed on 26-17 for the Azzurri, was decisive for the final result.

Federico Mussini, author of 37 points, was on the shields. Even the student Luiss Leonardo Marcon was the protagonist: 12 points and 9 rebounds for him.

Today at 20, Italbasket will face Croatia at PalaBarbuto in the semifinals for the 9th-12th place.
