Swimming, the Luiss Intesa Sanpaolo team records excellent times at the regional Seniores finals

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the “Marco Galli” Swimming Stadium in Civitavecchia, the regional finals of the Seniors category were held.

The athletes of the AS Luiss Intesa Sanpaolo Swimming Team who took part in this special event are: Alberto Crosato in the 50 and 100 style (25.39 – 56.30), Lorenzo Antonini in the 50 style and 50 breaststroke and (26.60 – 34.34), Simone Serpente in the 100 and 200 style (55.91 – 2.03.70), Gianluca Vandini in the 100 and 200 style 57.92 – 2. 06.38), Lorenzo Piferi in the 50 and 100 breaststroke (32.79 – 1.12.13), Lorenzo Paolini in the 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke (33.25 – 1.11.84 – 2.35.85) and Tommaso Landi in the 100, 200 breaststroke and 200 mixed (1’08.15 – 2.28.41 – 2.15.82).

With the races of this weekend, the first part of the competitive season of the Luiss Intesa Sanpaolo swimming team officially ends.

Despite the many difficulties that have characterized this first season cycle, including injuries and Covid, our athletes have shown an appreciable determination that led them to sign times never swum in the past.

The staff has therefore granted them two days of rest to allow them to start again in the best way in the second part of the season, characterized by major commitments in long tank (50 meters).
