Football Eccellenza, Luiss CBill wins the semi-final of the Italian Cup against Faul Cimini

On Wednesday 4 January, Luiss CBill takes the field at the Don Orione stadium to meet Polisportiva Faul Cimini and play in the semi-final first leg of the Coppa Italia Eccellenza. Our boys enter the field concentrated and win 3-0.
From the first minute they immediately start pressing all over the pitch, leaving no room for maneuver for the opponents. In the 10th minute a free-kick launched on the edge of the area is accepted by Biraschi who firstly kicks towards the goal. Carbone is very good at being ready to sign the 1-0 goal. Our phrasing of the ball on the ground continues and the opponents find themselves chasing the university students without creating difficulties. This brings us to the interval.
We return to the field for the second half and Cinti immediately launches a long shot for Mendicino who scores a great goal with his right winger: we are up 2-0.
In the 60th minute De Vincenzi dribbles the defender in the air and kicks on goal: the goalkeeper rejects the shot, but D’Alessandro arrives in the race and scores the 3-0 goal. The match thus ends with a clear victory for Luiss, who returns to the field on January 18 for the Coppa Italia Eccellenza and the second leg.
