Basketball B League: Luiss fast forward

After a first half point to point Luiss finds the right rotations, beats clearly Pozzuoli 80-68 and goes up to 22 (with a game to recover) waiting for the midweek round at Casal Palocco against the former Stella.

Luiss without captain Faragalli stopped at the pits and with Di Fonzo out of the hand injury relies on Navarini who will close with 19 points. Pozzuoli, dragged by Tessitore’s triples, starts strong and flies 13-8. Paccariè plays Marcon (16p. and 6 fouls suffered) as sixth man and his immediate energy graft to the university. A triple of Leonardo Di Francesco brings Luiss under 20-22. The game is more complicated than expected because Pozzuoli plays well while Luiss is more contracted.

Paccariè changes the quintets and makes the couple Bonaccorso Marcon bring the ball and Luiss begins to run thanks to Di Carmine and Martucci who raise the defensive level and change gear to offensive play. 37-31 with the Bonaccorso bomb.
