Male Volley wins direct clash against Lupi di Marte

  • 19 February 2019

Team victory for the boys of Coach Narduzzi

We are on 24-15 for our boys, fourth set one-way, Pannuti comfortable in dribble for the Tofoli dribble that raises it in place 4 to Mazzariello crashing on the wall a good dunk, so then an excellent reception of ours followed by a rise of Gragnola for our opposite Picconeri who makes a hands-off that gives our victory 3-1 over the direct opponents of the Lupi di Marte at the end of a nice evening satisfying.

This differentiates volleyball from other sports, all concentrated in defense, all pushing the ball to the other side in counterattack, helping each other, maintaining balance and determination in crashing the ball into the ground and take the point. It is a sport of passion, of team that ensures adrenaline.

Our heroes had blood in their eyes before the match, the attitude that Coach Narduzzi has always wanted to see in his own. There was no alternative, you had to take 3 net points, and so it was. The whole team is to be rewarded and praised for what they have shown on the field but, if we wanted to give some more credit to some of them surely we should note a sumptuous performance of the central Pannuti, a guy who always tries and manages to give his best (at the end of the second set had a percentage of concrete attacks equal to 100%); or still is to remember the power of Valentino Mazzariello, a lion during all 4 sets that in batting or attack has always made the difference, very good performance of our opponent De Marco who at the second set, where until then he had made excellent dunks and even an ace, had to leave due to injury (replaced by a clever Picconeri who worked so hard during the game, to see and review the experience in the last point of the set 4).

That’s how the first of the two fundamental matches for the promotion to Serie D ends; the second, we remember, will be held tomorrow against Afrogiro who won 3-0 in the week and is currently only 2 lengths away from us, with still one match to recover for the Luissini.

More loaded than before so we are waiting for tomorrow’s match at 16:00 at Avogadro. Surely we will be supported by our fans who already made the difference in the first leg and that we hope will be decisive this time.
