The VIII edition of the Team Manager Class has come to an end
Saturday, March 27, the eighth edition of the Team Manager Class concluded. The course hosted various personalities from the world of sport, who transferred their soft skills to the students.
The class, thanks to the Unisport Network of which Luiss has become part, was also open to students from eight Italian universities. Specifically: La Sapienza University, University of Trento, University of L’Aquila, University of Trieste, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, University of Cassino, University of Chieti-Pescara and IULM.
The events of the first module, held on February 26 and 27, were moderated by RAI journalist Alessandro Antinelli and were opened by the interventions of Luiss Executives, including the General manager Giovanni Lo Storto, the Pro-Rector for Education Roberto Pessi and the Director of AS Luiss Paolo Del Bene.
During the first day, Mister Arrigo Sacchi and FIGC organizational secretary Mauro Vladovich spoke. The guests told anecdotes related to their experiences and explained the topic characteristics of a Team Manager.
The following day, World Champion Daniele De Rossi took the floor. The former Roma captain spoke about his life on and off the pitch. Accompanying him on stage was Guglielmo Stendardo, lawyer and former player, now coordinator of the course.
In the second module, held on March 12 and 13, students listened to the testimony of Alessandro Bagalà. The former coach of S.S. Lazio Calcio a 5 explained to the students the relationship between the technical staff and the club. On March 13, Elisa Guarinieri, Marco Belinelli’s manager, spoke about the difficulties in managing a professional athlete.
The third module, held on March 26 and 27, saw the participation of Stefano Meloccaro and Alessandro Antinelli. The former dealt with sports communication, the latter with fake news. The following day, Guglielmo Stendardo closed the course with a lesson focused on the legal management of the athlete.
