Basketball B league, important win for playoff race: Catanzaro beaten 84-69

Nice performance by Basket Serie B, which wins against Mastria Sport Academy Catanzaro 84-69 at PalaLuiss. With the return of Sanna and Bonaccorso, the team finds almost the entire roster and the game is positively affected.

Our players start slow and the guests fly on 14-2, but a triple of D’Argenzio plays the charge. During the first quarter, the boys recover the bad start, closing down by 1.

In the second quarter, another triple by D’Argenzio gives us the lead at 21-19. Sanna and Infante also warm up, giving us the +10. Catanzaro, however, comes out of the time out well and ties the score at 31. Tredici scores 41-35, the first half ends 41-37.

A triple by Murri, a layup by Martini and a shot by Infante create the break that brings us to 48-37. Defensively, the team keeps the guests’ pressing and on offense flies on +15.

At the buzzer the score is 84-69 for us: a very important victory, when there are three games left to close the second phase.
