University Football, the Lumsa imposes us the first defeat of the season

The first defeat arrives for the boys of University Football, stopped at home by Lumsa. The AS Luiss CBILL Team falls with the result of 2-1.

At the start, the game does not give great emotions: neither team manages to impose itself clearly on the other. The game is blocked and it’s difficult for both teams to reach the penalty area.

Lumsa takes the lead at 15′, with a great free kick that hits the post and goes into the goal. Our guys try to react and intensify their attacks. They succeed in the recovery of the first half, when Filippo Botto wins and scores a penalty kick.

In the second half, the script remains the same: lots of ball possession and few shots. Around the 30th minute, Gianluca Gatti is sent off for added admonition and, a few moments later, Lumsa takes the lead with another free kick.

Roberto Giovannetti’s boys try until the end, but without finding the way to the tie.
