Giorgio Malan still Italian Modern Pentathlon Champion

Giorgio Malan, Top Athlete Luiss, takes 1st place in the Italian Absolute Modern Pentathlon Championship for the second year in a row.

It’s big celebration at the Olympic Preparation Center in Montelibretti, Rome: Giorgio Malan, after dominating the qualifications, won the men’s final with 1536 points, despite a mistake in the equitation event. A victory that marks the conclusion of the Italian Modern Pentathlon Federation’s competitive season.

“I am happy with the result but also with the individual trials, everything I am working on in training is working in competition. It was a nice way to end the year and I hope it bodes well for the next one,” commented Giorgio Malan.
