Women’s Volleyball, Green Volley Snaps Off the PalaLuiss

A difficult match for our girls, who are unable to replicate the results of the CSI tournament in the league. The home match against Green Volley ends 1-3. The result does not reflect a very balanced game but well played by a fierce opponent.

The first set starts slowly and the disadvantage is not recovered even thanks to a series of winning jokes. Thus, the guests prevail 25-15. In the second fraction, the team of coach Marra enters the field with a great desire for redemption and the score returns to a draw thanks to the 25-21 final. Beautiful plays and very long actions give reason to the athletes Luiss, but it is a fire of straw.

The opponents, in fact, in the next two sets pull out their teeth and try to redeem the defeat of the first game, won 3-2 by Luiss. The last set is very hard-fought, but Green Volley triumphs thanks to remarkable defenses and incisive attacks.

Unfortunately, the experience of the opponents had the better of a young group like ours. Now head to the game against ASD Diamond.

Coach Marra’s team is ready to return to the field more motivated than ever. It won’t be easy to go away, but our athletes will do their best.
