Soccer Eccellenza: undeserved defeat for Luiss against Villalba Ocres Moca

On the rainy day of Sunday, January 9, 2022, the Luiss team found itself facing Villalba Ocres Moca, a team that has always been undeservedly defeated by our boys, as in the last 3 years they have never managed to win.

The match, which began with a strong pressing by our boys, saw the opponents often make mistakes, giving us a huge percentage of ball possession and opportunities unfortunately never finalized. The first half ended with a great action wasted by the guests after a misunderstanding between our defenders and the goalkeeper Poli.

The resumption, started with the same inertia of the first half, has seen Luiss in control of the match: ours have repeatedly touched the goal first with Adem Rekik, then with Renzetti and finally with Nolano, which is canceled a goal for offside, made with a spectacular action. Around the 85′ minute, however, on the development of a corner kick guests find the goal of the final advantage. Despite a race more than enough and dominated for 90 minutes our boys come out so defeated for 0-1.
