Luiss at the ENGAGE.EU Cup Chess Tournament at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia

Luiss has been invited to participate in the ENGAGE.EU Cup Chess Tournament, the first inter-university online chess tournament, organized by the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

The tournament will be free of charge and will start on May 19, 2021. To participate you must:

Register on the Lichess website and create a nickname as close as possible to your real name.
Fill out a form by May 12, 2021.
Useful information

The tournament will take place following the round robin mode: each team will play at least one game against every other team.
The “Swiss Manager” system will be used for the draw.
The Lichess platform will be used exclusively to play the matches.
The playing time will be 15 minutes.
Each team will consist of 4 players, including at least one female player.
During the games, all participants will be obliged to connect to Microsoft Teams, keeping the video camera and microphone on at all times. It will also be prohibited to talk to teammates during matches.
Prizes

1st place: Tournament Cup.
Best player award.
All players will receive a certificate of participation.
